Our SQUADS
Manchester Laces Yellows
Manchester Laces Yellows was founded in 2022 and has experienced remarkable growth across the football pyramid.
After securing back-to-back treble-winning seasons and earning consecutive promotions, the team now competes at Tier 6 in the NWWRFL.
Last season marked another milestone - Manchester Laces’ debut in the FA Cup, making it one of the most exciting campaigns in our history!
We’re proud to continue growing our 11-a-side pathway, with our Yellows team now operating under Wythenshawe Town Women’s FC, marking an exciting step in strengthening opportunities for players within the game.
Alongside this, Manchester Laces remain committed to expanding access to the game at all levels, offering both 11-a-side teams and 9-a-side teams. We are also actively working towards creating an inclusive 11-a-side offering for all women, non-binary and transgender amateur players within a non-FA affiliated league.

Manchester Laces Blues
Laces Blues are the heartbeat of good vibes and togetherness within the club. Known for their energy, spirit and unwavering support for one another, the Blues have built a strong identity both on and off the pitch.
After initially finding their feet in the 9-a-side Flexi League, the team made the step up to 11-a-side football in 2024 - and didn’t look back! In an incredible debut season, the Blues showcased their quality and resilience, finishing 2nd in the league and lifting the Division 2 Cup in style.
That success secured a well-earned promotion, and the Blues now compete in Division 1 of the Greater Manchester Women’s Football League. As they continue to grow and challenge themselves at a higher level, the team remains rooted in what makes them special: a commitment to inclusivity, development, and creating a positive environment where everyone can thrive.
Whether it’s matchday performances or the atmosphere they bring every week, Laces Blues continue to represent everything Manchester Laces stands for.

Known for their strong team spirit, work rate, and ability to perform in high-pressure moments, the Greenies have continued to build on that success.
With a solid core of players and a commitment to developing both individually and collectively, they remain a force to be reckoned with and are always pushing to go one step further each season!

Manchester Laces Reds
We formed this brand new beginner group in September 2023 with a clear goal: to support players taking their first steps into football and help them build the confidence to play their very first games. What started as a fresh, exciting project has quickly grown into a thriving team, now competing in the Greater Manchester Women’s Flexi League.
Under the guidance of Coach Lauren, the Reds have gone from strength to strength - developing not just as footballers, but as a tight-knit, supportive group who genuinely enjoy the journey together. Their growth, commitment, and willingness to learn have been incredible to watch, and they continue to embody the spirit of Manchester Laces both on and off the pitch.
From those first sessions to now stepping onto the pitch in competitive matches, the Reds are a brilliant example of what can be achieved with the right environment, coaching, and team culture.

9-a-sideManchester Laces Blacks
Laces Black are one of the newest additions to the Laces family, stepping into their first ever fixtures in 2024 as part of Division 2 in the Manchester Women’s Flexi League.
While they may share a division, there’s no real rivalry here - just plenty of mutual support, shared journeys, and a collective drive to keep improving. As a new team, the Blacks have brought fresh energy to the club, embracing the challenge of competitive football while continuing to build their identity together.
With a growing squad, strong team spirit, and a commitment to learning week by week, Laces Black are already making their mark and laying solid foundations for the future.
